To enter you need to shoot 3 Portsmouth rounds at any time during the month of February. You must shoot one round with a Recurve bow, one round with a Compound bow, and one round with either a Longbow - or a Wooden club bow shot without sights, or American flat bow. These last 2 bow types would be subject to a score reduction of 10% to allow for them having arrow rests.
You may shoot as many practice rounds with any bow that you wish, but to use the score your score sheet must be marked “Triarrowthon” before you start.
You may enter scores that are shot for your round of the month.
All scores must be witnessed and signed for and marked “Triarrowthon” you should then put them in the normal scores box outside the range. The results will be announced by the Records Officer at the end of the month.
All Compound scores to be shot using INNER TEN .
As this is an unofficial club shoot it will be open to associate as well as direct members.
This will involve archers voluntarily sharing bows. should you need to borrow a recurve or compound or longbow we will endeavour to come up with something suitable for you.
We have one main trophy donated for the overall winner, any other donations would be welcome.
